Sen. Sanders is joined by business leaders from the geothermal industry, and customers who are utilizing this technology. Geothermal systems provide heat that is approximately a third the cost of oil, and installation costs for homeowners is offset by a 30 percent federal tax credit passed in the stimulus package. Sen. Bernie Sanders,  Nick Manosh, Vice President, Manosh Corporation, Brian Tibbits, homeowner who has installed geothermal system, John Caulo, Acting Vice President, Campus Planning, Champlain College, Jeff Williams, Vice President, Spafford and Sons Water Wells, and James Ashley, Green Mountain Geothermal.
