CCTV Celebrates Community Media Day

October 20th is Community Media Day! Community Media Day is an annual celebration of voices that bring awareness to the importance of free speech and accessible media for all individuals to have their voices heard.

We are lucky in Vermont to have such a robust network of community media centers throughout the state (learn more about the Vermont Access Network here). These organizations provide our communities with access to local content that most news stations don't cover. This includes Town Meeting Day coverage, Election night shows, municipal and school board meetings, statehouse coverage, school sports and music events, local arts and culture, community events, festivals, rallies, and more!

In honor of Community Media Day, we put together this YouTube playlist highlighting the community-based programs Town Meeting TV has recorded over the past year. We are proud to serve our communities of Burlington, South Burlington, Winooski, Williston, Essex, and Essex Junction. Thank YOU for creating, watching, and supporting community media!
