Description
*Opening with a Spirited & Contrarian SHAPE-NOTE SING, this HD VIDEO (1090) features the work of individual artists who you will later see in their performance of the 50th Anniversary TOTAL THIS & THAT CIRCUS of October, 2013:
*MODERNTIMESTHEATER -- AKA Justin Lander and Rose Friedman -- perform a deleriously psycho-analytical Eco-Socialist Punch N' Judy show, followed by
*Meredith Holch, who presents her Cranky: THE PENCIL AS WEAPON.
*Next is a (definitely) sidelong documentation of THE FOOT -- a Guerrilla /Agit-Prop Street Theatre piece that has been performed since the late 60's precisely because it is so innocent, cutting, oddly complete, incredibly musical, concrete (!) while it mercilessly Attacks the Deniability Factor in the American Conversation Re: Endless War!
*We move to one of the Wake-UpRise-up&LiveYr'Life! Songs (Honey, Please Be Mine!) of the trio of Geoff Goodhue, Mary GoRound and (?) in a part of the B&P Museum.
*A grave poster proclaims WAR A FAILURE OF IMAGINATION.
*We stride into the Dirt-Floor Cathedral at the B&P Farm. THE TOTAL THIS & THAT CIRCUS -- supported by its anarchic Brass Band -- as if effortlessly (!) -- Shatters any Number of our current Social, Political & Musical Taboos! AllOfASudden Secret Conversations are made Public! Maybe you'll get inspired to Bake Nutrient-Dense Bread & spread it with Aioli and share it with your Friends!
Cheers!
