Host Mary Sullivan (D) speaks with Vermont Attorney David Mickenberg on a variety of legislative issues he is working on. David joined Mickenberg, Dunn, Lachs and Smith, as an associate in the fall of 2006. At the firm, David focuses on Civil Litigation, Worker's Compensation, and Public Affairs. Prior to joining the firm, David served as a Dorot Fellow in Washington, D.C. at the Alliance for Justice, working on research and advocacy related to Presidential appointees to the federal judiciary, including three Supreme Court nominations. Prior to law school, David spent six years at two programs started by George Soros' Open Society Institute, the Drug Policy Alliance and The After School Corporation, working on policy, communications and government relations.
