The five Essex/Westford House Representatives (Myers, Evans, Dame, Jerman, Bancroft) listen to brief pro-and-con presentations from advocates for recreational marijuana legislation, then hear from community members on the issue. Essex Heart and Soul hosts the event with Kayhl Cooper, a local high school student and community advisory board member of H&S, moderating the discussion. Brief presentations made by Mariah Sanderson of Smart Approaches to Marijuana (SAM) and Laura Subin of the Vermont Coalition to Regulate Marijuana. Chittenden County Senators provide an update on Senate deliberations to date.
