Description

From the organizer:

Burlington has been facing increasingly challenging public safety problems since 2020. It is time we focus on solutions. With a keen eye toward balancing the needs of our most vulnerable community members with the need to maintain our vibrant downtown, the forum brings together community leaders from our area and other cities. We hear about solutions and programs that are working in some of our most challenged cities. Then, we inspire some Burlington-sized solutions to share with the group. Come to learn, come to inspire, come to help create Burlington’s NEXT ACT!

Speakers include:

  • Kelly Devine, Executive Director, Burlington Business Association
  • Par Tolles, Partner & CEO, Tolles Development
  • Kate Thomas, Assistant County Manager, Washoe County Nevada
  • Grant Denton, Executive Director, Karma Box Project
  • Brad Segal, President, PUMA Downtown Association
  • John Caner, CEO, Downtown Berkeley Association
