Mayor Miro Weinberger and Burlington Electric Department (BED), joined by partners from Rewiring America, the nation’s leading electrification nonprofit, Key Chevrolet, a member of BED’s Preferred Electric Vehicle Dealership Network, and the Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA), announce new and expanded opportunities for Burlingtonians to advance strategic electrification.

Governor Phil Scott: Policy Briefing Series for Legislators - Public Safety 01/11/2023

From the Office of Governor Scott:

The Scott Administration will hold a series of briefings for legislators over the next two weeks on a range of issues that are important to Vermont communities. The briefings will provide an efficient overview of major issue areas that the Governor will prioritize this session and allow for an open exchange between executive and legislative branch officials. One goal is to provide lawmakers the opportunity to communicate with and hear from Administration officials on topics that are important to them and their constituents, but may not fall under their committee’s jurisdiction.

From the office of Governor Scott:

Governor Phil Scott will be sworn in to his fourth term as governor in a ceremony on Thursday, January 5, in the House Chamber. After being sworn in by the Chief Justice, the Governor will administer the oaths of office to the newly elected Treasurer, Secretary of State, Auditor of Accounts and Attorney General. The Governor will then deliver his fourth Inaugural Address to a joint session of the General Assembly.
