The Vermont Astronomical Society is a group of amateur astronomers with varying backgrounds and levels of expertise whose mission is to promote amateur astronomy in Vermont. Look up in the sky. On April 8, Burlington will experience its first total solar eclipse since 1932—the last one until 2106! Hear from Obscura BTV planners, city leaders, and other eclipse event stakeholders for key information.

The City of Winooski is improving the roadway along the Main Street (U.S. 2/7) corridor, starting at the New England Central Railroad bridge near the intersection with Maple Street and extending to the Winooski-Colchester town line near the Winooski School District. The Winooski Main Street Revitalization project will reconfigure the road layout to accommodate all roadway users.
