Emily Anderson, Bridging Coordinator, Champlain Community Services (CCS), introduces students from the CCS Bridging Program. In this episode, we meet The Candoodles. The Candoodles then share pictures they took to exemplify community health with Kristin Fontaine, Senior Pediatric Outreach Coordinator from UVMMC, to learn more about how we care for and keep ourselves and our community safe and healthy.

"This celebration is special because it marks a pious solidarity with all the women who are raped in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo in general and in particular those of South Kivu in the territory of Fizi. The women of the Bembe tribe of all the United States and those of Vermont today have a pious thought towards all its women who have been raped for more than 20 years. But also, this event allows us to educate our children to keep our culture. That's why there's the fashion show, the exhibition of traditional dances, and the Congolese food."
