Description

From the Winooski Memorial Library:

Have you heard? The Winooski Library is expanding!

The City of Winooski is partnering with the Champlain Housing Trust to redevelop the O'Brien Community Center and construct a new library for the community – an initiative that will vastly increase the library's existing space by nearly 4000 square feet. As part of the planned renovation, community members are invited to stop by our open house to learn more about the project, provide feedback on the design process, see updated architectural renderings of the rebuild, and meet with stakeholders involved in the project who will be present to answer questions. We hope to see you there!

The Winooski Memorial Library celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion and welcomes the rich tapestry of experience and background among all members of the Winooski community. All Winooski Memorial Library cardholders - from birth through adolescence, and into adulthood - enjoy the benefits of free and open access to a broad and diverse collection of print and audiovisual materials, ebook and digital audiobook holdings, nontraditional items, online resources, and programming opportunities that collectively enrich lives, inspire curiosity, and support lifelong learning.
