Description

Lawmakers in Arizona recently passed one of the harshest anti-immigrant laws in U.S. history. SB 1070 grants police the authority to demand documentation of anyone who  looks like an immigrant,  effectively legalizing the racial profiling of Latinos and other people of color. A discussion on why the bill in Arizona passed, and what we can do to defeat the politics of fear.  Speakers: Dave VanDeusen, Vice President, Vermont AFL-CIO
