Five words that describe Sue Gay: Sensitive, Seasoned,  Introspective, Empathetic, Intuitive.

I was born in Newport, RI in 1944. I grew up in New Jersey with a 2-year relocation to Edina, MN. I graduated from Madison, NJ high school in 1962. I attended Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA where I was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

I was a stay-at-home Mom with 2 daughters for several years. I volunteered for the PBS station in Lewiston, Maine in fundraising from 1978 - 1986. I volunteered at Locust Grove, Historic Home, in Louisville, KY for several years (dates?) in the Visitors Center and fundraising. I volunteered as an educator for LakeSmart, a water quality group in the Belgrade Lakes, ME for 10 years.

I worked at Colby College in Waterville,ME in Admissions. Later I worked part-time as an administrative assistant (PA) a bookseller (TN), an elder care companion (TN)

Dave’s job in apparel manufacturing required him to travel extensively and we moved 9 times to the following states: NJ, CT, ME PA, KY, TN, KY, ME, VT.

I am a recovering alcoholic (24 years). I was diagnosed with NPH (hydrocephalus with brain shunt surgery) 2022. I have recovered from recent early breast cancer (2023).

I recently moved to Wake Robin in Shelburne after 7 years in Colchester. I have attended All Souls Interfaith Gathering in Shelburne, VT for 4 years.
