You are invited to a community discussion with Iraqi young people, US activists and journalist Charlotte Dennett about the Iraw War and the Gaza War.
Some 30 young Iraqi students are here in Vermont sponsored by the Vermont Council on World Affairs. I am host to two teenagers. They of course are too young to have endured the initial Shock and Awe, March 19, 2003, but their families did, and Adam and Mustafa experienced the aftermath. We will share with them our memories and efforts to stop Bush’s war, and they will speak about their lives and the activism currently happening in Iraq though the Tishreen Movement. Charlotte will provide deep background as to why it all happened. Your participation will be welcomed.
