Join Town Meeting TV's "Election Media Team"!

Youth who are interested in elections and politics are invited to apply for a spot in our new fall internship program!

Interns who join our Election Media Team will make an impact in their local community while gaining real-world experience through working at a TV station, covering important stories, and being part of Town Meeting TV’s election coverage!

Through the program interns will gain experience:

• Covering elections

• Surveying locals about the ballot

• Following and reporting on ballot items

• Floor directing

• Moderating election forums

• Working with local leaders, candidates, and officials

• Creating educational content to engage community members in the election process

Interns will also have the option to host a weekly TV show recapping the political landscape!

The team will meet under the leadership of Town Meeting TV's Travis Washington from September 9th, 2024 to November 8th, 2024, on an agreed upon schedule.

This opportunity may count for school credit.
