Description

As directed by the Burlington City Council resolution with amendments for the Winooski Avenue Transportation Study, this project will identify practical strategies for balancing parking supply and demand north of Pearl Street, with the goal of meeting essential parking needs while freeing up space for dedicated bike lanes. A joint City Councilor-Stakeholder Committee of four stakeholders from the North Winooski Avenue area and three Councilors of the Transportation, Energy, and Utilities Committee of City Council will approve the project scope and guide the Parking Management Plan process.
