Migrant Justice holds a press conference and rally to welcome home two migrant worker rights activists, Enrique “Kike” Balcazar and Zully Palacios, who were just released from costudy after detainment and arrest by U.S. Immigration and Custom's Enforcement (ICE) officials earlier this month, and also to speak on the status of the third Migrant Justice activist also arrested and still in detention, Alex Carillo. In addition, the organization was presented with the National Education Association's César Chávez Acción y Compromiso Human and Civil Rights Award. Following the press conference and award presentation, a vigil was held outside the offices.
