Before opening on October 28, we invite you to a public open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 21 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Join us for remarks and guided tours of the Mental Health Urgent Care program. This initiative is in partnership with the University of Vermont Medical Center, Community Health Centers, Pathways Vermont, and the Vermont Department of Mental Health.

This October Howard Center will open a new Mental Health Urgent Care in partnership with the University of Vermont Medical Center, Community Health Centers, Pathways Vermont, and the Vermont Department of Mental Health. Join us to learn more at a public town hall webinar on October 16 from 6:00-7:30 pm. There will be a presentation by the project managers Cathie Buscaglia and Charlotte McCorkel from Howard Center and Maureen Leahy and Karen Vastine from the University of Vermont Medical Center followed by a question-and-answer period.

The clinic will offer mental health support services, peer support, and medical care in a trauma-informed, suicide-safe setting located at 1 South Prospect Street in Burlington. Care will be available for adults over 18 seeking immediate support or in self-defined crisis as a therapeutic alternative to emergency department care. Come learn more and listen to a presentation by the project managers Cathie Buscaglia and Charlotte McCorkel from Howard Center and Maureen Leahy and Karen Vastine from the University of Vermont Medical Center. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer period.
