Description

From Ken Stearns:

The Jar podcast is created and hosted by Ken Stearns. He developed the concept slowly over the past 3 years, but it wasn’t until he wrote questions for his own self reflection in an autobiography that it truly came to life. At 59, Ken had finally solidified his unique vision for the project propelling him to leave his corporate job at the end of 2021 to embark on the most important chapter of his life. Now 60 years old, Ken is on the road, driving solo to 111 cities across America.

Armed with a jar full of questions inspired by those he once asked himself, Ken is turning strangers into friends as he sit’s them down with the same tools he used to get to know himself. Every episode features a new guest who's life story unfolds slowly through each question they pull out of the Jar. With no topic or story off limits, The Jar is discovering the lives of the strangers you pass by on the street.

With the help of a remote small team, he’s dedicated his life to giving Real People and Real Conversations a place to be heard. Together, we’ll paint a picture of the similarities American’s share that grossly outshine our differences. It’s time to highlight what it means to be human and live well, together.
