Description

FOCUS host Margaret Harrington talks with Protect Geprag's Park activists Jane Palmer and Rachel Smolker who have been fighting Vermont Gas System's plan to construct a fracked gas pipeline across Geprag's Park in Hinesburg, Vermont. That stretch of land is the last one Vermont Gas needs to complete the first phase of their construction. The Supreme Court appeal over the easement through Geprag's Park is upcoming April 4. The Vermont legislature climate caucus committee has delivered a letter to the Vermont Public Service Board requesting that the certificate of public good be reopened because of multiple issues from cost overruns to safety concerns.
