Description
Schumann's Furious Art Fiddle Rant was created on January 26, 2022 in his studio for the 17th Festival de Casteliers Unveiling of Marionettes en Vitrines!, a Walkabout exhibition in over 30 shop windows in Montreal's Outremont featuring the works of Peter Schumann and the Bread and Puppet Theater. This exhibit, curated by Alexis Smith and Castelier's Pavla Mano, is the largest historical retrospective of B&P masks, calendars, prints, puppets, publications and paintings ever shown. The walkabout exhibit runs from February 7th to March 6th, 2022. This film features subtitles in French by Genevieve Yeullaz added by Denise Babin at Festival de Casteliers.
This 17th Casteliers Festival features performances by a number of international puppeteers, whose work is briefly described at the Casteliers website below. Great Small Works is one of the featured performances in March. Check the website for Info on performance schedules.
