Bread and Puppet Theatre: THE HOPE PRINCIPLE SHOW - CITIZENS' SHAME + HOPE IN THE TIME OF GENOCIDE 03/30/2024

This video documents the second performance of The Hope Principle Show which the next day began a 20 stop tour of New England.
The program quotes from Tariq M. Haddad's letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, November 2023:
Secretary Blinken, there is very little at this point that you can do to reverse the damage and destruction you have caused the Palestinian people, but there are at least some things you can do to prevent further destruction and suffering:
1. Call for an immediate ceasefire.
2. End the continued transfer of U.S. military reserve equipment to the Israeli military to stop further murder.
3. Call for an immediate withdrawal from Gaza and equality for the Palestinian people.
4. Call for an end to the Israeli occupation and for equal rights, freedoms, and laws in this land regardless of one's religion, ethnicity, or background.

Farmers Night performance in the Vermont State Capitol - a massively historic event, replete with the irony of its staging in front of a huge portrait of George Washington that faces into the well of the House.

Bread and Puppet Theatre: Kropotkin Series Bedsheets & Kropotkin Biographical Performance 10/13/2023

Features Peter Schumann Kropotkin Bedsheet series (executed Spring? Summer2023) which were laid out on the studio floor of Jules and Helen Rabin cut to fit specific places on the library's walls, so as to create a travelling exhibit devoted to quotations of Kropotkin set into expressionist representational images.
