The Peace and Justice Center hosts a press conference at which a People‘s Response to COVID-19 is delivered. The demands presented to our local, state, and national governments were put together by people in multiple unions, nonprofits, political parties, and other organizations. We also talk about mutual aid, public health, and the need for internationalism.

Nuclear Free Future: The New Nuclear Arms Race - National Security or Insecurity? 02/15/2018

Host Margaret Harrington talks with Dr. John F. Reuwer about the dangers of nuclear war and what can be done as the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists have set the clock one minute closer to approaching atomic meltdown at Two Minutes to Midnight. Dr. Reuwer speaks as a Doctor for Peace and a decades-long member of Physicians for Social Responsibility. He talks about the upcoming week-long festival of nuclear-related movies which will be shown around Burlington and that are sponsored by the Peace and Justice Center.
