He has had the privilege of listening very intently to many people’s revelations about the ways addiction develops. Ed is also himself in long-term recovery for 35 years. Ed’s talk, “Understanding and Supporting People With Addiction,” answers many questions related to addiction-risk and the complex, gradual and innocent development of this disease. Ed also discusses the idea of “Positive Messaging” to dispel stigma.
