South Burlington Passes Budgets, Elects Newcomers

Fewer than 20% of South Burlington voters went to the polls tonight (May 20th) to pass a city budget of $19 million and school budget of $38 million. In addition to elected city and school board positions, voters also approved the use of sales tax revenue to fund six firefighters and decided to stop fueling a school wood chip facility with bond money.
