VOTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO SPEND TOWN MEETING DAY  WITH TOWN MEETING TV

Beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1st, Vermonters should tune in to Town Meeting TV’s “Town Meeting Day 2022” election results program airing live on www.ch17.tv, Comcast channel 1087, and Burlington Telecom channels 17 and 217. 

With many municipalities opting for Australian ballots due to COVID-19, Town Meeting Day gatherings are not what they used to be. In spite of the changes, Town Meeting TV’s election day coverage continues to be a local tradition.

"Town Meeting TV has always been the go-to source for local election coverage and results, and this year is no different,” says Town Meeting TV Director Meghan O’Rourke. “Voters in Burlington, South Burlington, Winooski, Essex, and Williston can still count on us to stay informed about what’s happening in their communities and to learn  more about who and what’s on their ballot.”

In addition to comprehensive results for Chittenden County races, this year's “Town Meeting Day 2022” election results program will feature special reports on ballot items, interviews with candidates and voters, and commentary by local politicians and pundits —  now safely brought to viewers via Zoom.
