"Stump the Chumps" returns to Channel 17/Town Meeting Television!
Debuting Wednesday, June 29th at 5:25 p.m.
Hello out there in TV Land! On June 29, 2016, longtime Burlington residents Don MacDonald and Bill Keogh will resurrect "Stump the Chumps" -- one of Channel 17's most popular programs ever.
Hosted by Herb Bloomenthal and Al Bernadina from 1991-2001, the original program featured local personalities and historians and focused on the local history of Burlington neighborhoods, Winooski, Essex, Essex Junction, Colchester, Williston, and South Burlington.
Following a similar format, but incorporating some 21st Century updates, the new show will kick things off with guest Rep. Joey Donovan (D-Burlington) and questions about the Burlington Railroad, the North and South End, local baseball players, and more!
Test your knowledge of Chittenden County history and see if you have what it takes to Stump the Chumps. Tune in and call in -- LIVE -- on June 29th at 5:25 p.m. at 802-862-3966.
Watch the show on Channel 17, or visit CH17.tv to watch it online!
