Addressing Homelessness in Chittenden County - Vermont Interfaith Action 05/30/2012 After months of research, Vermont Interfaith Action leaders ask for changes in policy and allocation of resources to decrease the number of homeless persons and improve support services for them in Chittenden County. Special guests include Doug Racine, Secretary of the Agency of Human Services and Miro Weinberger, Mayor of Burlington. Online Safety for Students 05/29/2012 Attorney General, Bill Sorrell, Facebook, and Essex High School host a presentation for parents, students, and school staff to show them how to be safe when using Facebook. Major General Michael Dubie on Appointment to Northern Command 05/29/2012 Major General Michael Dubie, Vermont’s Adjutant General, was confirmed by the United States Senate for promotion to the rank of Lieutenant General and appointment as Deputy Commander of the United States Northern Command at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. In response to multiple requests for interviews, Major General Dubie informally discusses his promotion and pending departure as Vermont Adjutant General. AIRS: Saturday 6/9/12 at 7 p.m.
