Common Good Vermont Mid-Winter Update

January 27, 2010

Thank you for your advice and support of Common Good Vermont during the first year and for your input on upcoming 2010 “convening” plans.  We’d like to update you mission critical networking activities now underway. We hope you are able to participate in any way, shape or form that works for you.

1. Common Good Vermont Web Portal is Now Live! Please take a moment to browse www.commongoodvt.org and learn about the Topics, Sectors and Locations. Try the “search” and “browse” tools. This gigantic basket is waiting to be filled with your events, news and important links. Use “npvt” and tag your Flickr Pictures, Twitter posts, Yahoo Upcoming Events, and Delicious resources. Help us to build this knowledge bank for the benefit of our colleagues and the community at large.

2. Vermont Nonprofits Go to Montpelier! Thursday February 11 2010
Come to the State House in Montpelier, mingle with your nonprofit colleagues, meet your legislators, and tell the story about the vital work that you are doing to maintain and advance Vermont's commitment to its people and environment. RSVP today!

3. Activate Advisory Committee: Following a well-attended Annual Meeting Common Good Vermont announced an “inner circle” Advisory Group to be formed in order to guide the current and future direction of the capacity building initiative. We’ve been advised to make the “ask” clear and actionable.
