Burlington Ward 6 NPA Meeting 02/02/2012

Neighborhood Planning Assemblies (NPAs) are grassroots, neighborhood organizations that were established in each of Burlington's seven Wards to encourage citizen participation in City government. Working as neighborhood advocacy groups, Neighborhood Planning Assemblies help improve communication between the citizens of Burlington and City government through regular meetings scheduled in each Ward. The American Red Cross, Northern New England Blood Services Region will hold blood drives in cities and towns throughout Vermont. All eligible and new blood donors are encouraged to give blood. Donors are needed every day to make sure there is an adequate blood supply for patients in need. All presenting donors in January will receive a coupon for a free pound of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. By offering all presenting donors a coupon for a free pound of coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts and the Red Cross are thanking donors who support the community blood supply by rolling up their sleeves to give the gift of life.
