The VT Institute on the Caribbean, as part of a cultural exchange program, brought 16 youngsters, coaches, a sports journalist and community leaders from the Dominican Republic to play baseball with local teams. The Institute, a local organization, links the Burlington area community with the people in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic through sports, education, arts and community development programs.
