Hosted by Champlain College, 21 high school students from Shanghai, China visit Channel 17 to learn about community media making.  The students are in the US on a summer program of the Vermont International Academy (VIA). The VIA is a preperatory experience for students interested in attending american colleges or universities. from their website: " VIA’s program of study and partnership with Datong High School in Shanghai creates a powerful intellectual alliance between East and West which prepares students for the best Colleges and Universities in Vermont and the United States."  http://www.vermontia.org/en/
