Description

Uncommon Alliance's primary goal is to dismantle racial and ethnic profiling in our criminal justice system.  This objective is realized by building positive relationships between members of affected communities and criminal justice professionals, and by providing continuing opportunities for dialogue and study around issues of race. Wanda Hines, Uncommon Alliance Sterring Committee member hosts the Youth Outreach Planning Committee comprised of community member Julio Perez, Winooski Police Chief Steve McQueen, and Service Rendered Director Bruce Wilson, on the ongoing efforts and events towards engaging youth of all ages in positive activities.
