Host Donna Jacobs talks to Ashley Eaton,AmeriCorps Environmental Educator, about the SOLE Camp.  

The Winooski Valley Park District's new Sustainable Outdoor Leadership and Education summer camp - SOLE Camp! The mission of SOLE Camp is to educate youth to be conservation stewards and to tread lightly. SOLE Camp is offered for students age 9-12 and takes place at the Ethan Allen Homestead in Burlington. Sample activities animal tracking, hiking, field trips, adventure games, gardening, outdoor survival, wetland exploration, and outdoor cooking.
