Description

Gov. Peter Shumlin signs The Veterans Job Tax Credit providing qualified employers with a tax credit for each veteran that is hired as a new full-time employee. The law also grants up to a $2000.00 credit against income tax liability to a recently deployed veteran for expenses associated with a start-up business in which the veteran has at least a 50% ownership interest. The Governor will also sign into law legislation that grants Continuity in Education for Children in Military Families.
