Audra Plepytė, the Ambassador from Lithuania to the United States, visits the Lost Mural located in Burlington, Vermont, to celebrate the Lithuanian government’s support for the full restoration of the 1910 mural painted by Lithuanian artist Ben Zion Black.
Members of the press are invited to 188 North Prospect Street, Burlington, Vermont, Ohavi Zedek Synagogue, from 10-10:30 am on Friday, August 20, 2020, to meet with Ambassador Plepytė and the Honorable Madeleine May Kunin, Chairperson of the Friends of the Lost Mural. This occasion marks the successful August 2021 completion of the cleaning phase of the Lost Mural, and the beginning of the fundraising for the full restoration of the Lost Mural this fall.
