Description

From Burlington Progressives TV:

In 2020 and 2021, Burlington residents reacted to incidents of excessive force by BPD officers by calling for real community oversight of the police department. After the Mayor vetoed a charter change ballot item to place a community oversight board before the voters, over 2100 voters petitioned to place an item on this year's Town Meeting ballot. We will discuss this proposal and the reasons for it with a member of the community group, Tyler Pastorok.

Tyler Pastorok, member of People for Police Accountability. Hosted by Gene Bergman, Ward 2 City Councilor.
