Vermont Alzheimer's Association Executive Director, Martha Richardson speaks with support group leaders Rachel Cummings and Wendy Bombard discussing the importance of support groups for those living with Alzheimer’s disease. Support groups provide shared experiences, emotional support, and coping techniques while connecting families, care partners, and individuals with Alzheimer’s disease to others in a similar situation. Covering support group opportunities in our area and across the state, guests Rachel Cummings of Armistead Caregiver Services and Wendy Bombard of the VNA share their experiences as leaders of two support groups for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and their care partners. For anyone impacted by Alzheimer’s disease, learn how you can share your story and make connections through a support group near you.
