Description

What is gender identity? What does it mean to feel "different"? Join Vermont Public Radio's Jane Lindholm and a panel of guests in a thought-provoking and timely discussion that probes these questions. There is a growing national awareness about the epidemic of harassment based on gender identity. This discussion examines ways in which bullying can negatively impact every young person in Vermont. The Vermont Girls Collaborative is a network of programs across the state that works together to leverage the power of girls' programs through the sharing of resources, ideas and relationships; promote girls' well-being and social equity; and expand the capacity of girls' programs to meet the needs of Vermont girls.
