Description

Travis Poulin, Director of Chittenden Community Action, chats with Whitney Cassell, CVOEO Warmth Coordinator.

Winter came early this year and this month’s show focuses on fuel assistance and getting your home ready for the cold weather.

Are you in danger of running out of fuel to heat your home? Have you received a disconnect notice from the utility company? You might qualify for Crisis Fuel Assistance from CVOEO. We talk about emergency resources available to homeowners and renters, how to apply, and go over some simple things you can do to weatherize your home to reduce heating costs as well as free services available to income-qualified households.
