Description
This episode discusses what it is like to attend the Downtown Burlington High School. The original BHS shut down in 2020 after there were unsafe levels of PCBs found in the building. After that, the city had to scramble to find somewhere to resettle the 1,200 students who attend school at BHS. After some modifications the students and teachers were able to move into the abandoned Macy’s in downtown Burlington. Noora Moody joins host Sylvie Dworshak and talks about the challenges of being a high school student at the Downtown BHS.
