Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin is joined by Congressman Peter Welch and PSEG Solar Source dedicate the PSEG Essex Solar Center. The 3.6-megawatt-dc facility is the state’s largest solar farm.

During the event, Gov. Shumlin declares June 20 as Solar Day in Vermont.
Governor Shumlin, Representative Welch, Secretary Ross and experts from PSEG, Encore Redevelopment, Vermont Electric Power Producers and Renewable Energy Vermont, as well as JSI, the project’s engineering and construction firm, discuss the Essex Solar Center and the future of solar energy.
