The Burlington Partnership for a Healthy Community believes that one of the best ways to achieve positive outcomes for our community is to bring the community together to address our own problems and enhance our strengths. The President and CEO of Burlington Labs (the presenting sponsor for this event), Michael Casarico, has this to say about the award celebration, “My philosophy of life is to think globally and act locally, and that’s what Burlington Partnership for a Healthy Community does. All of BPHC’s projects are about increasing the quality of life for people and Burlington Labs supports those who help people grow and live healthier. We want to reward the commitment of this year’s Roots of Prevention award recipients by showing our support at the ceremony because they help make Burlington a safer and healthier community every day.”
