Ted Wimpey, Director of the Fair Housing Project at CVOEO, speaks with Lauren Pyatt, Education & Outreach Specialist with the Burlington Lead Program. Lauren explains how the Burlington Lead Program generally works and its various benefits, especially to people with lower incomes who are often in a protected fair housing class such as: people with various disabilities, members of ethnic and racial minority populations, people with young children, New Americans (especially those with limited English ability), and others.

Fair Housing Project (FHP): Advocacy/Public Advocacy, referrals, education and outreach, enforcement, and information regarding Housing Discrimination issues.
Mobile Home Project (MHP): Advocacy/Public Advocacy, tenant organizing, referrals, counseling, and information for Manufactured Home Owners who are renting lots - especially those in Mobile Home Parks.
Vermont Tenants (VTI): Advocacy/Public Advocacy, organizing, advice, tenant counseling, training, and information regarding Residential Tenancy.
