Channel 17/ Town Meeting TV Floating Field Producers

This is a part-time position responsible for recording the municipal meetings and events you see on Channel 17 (in the communities served by Burlington Telecom and Comcast). If you are interested in challenging your abilities at documenting these meetings and events with a goal towards quality and attention to detail, we would love to talk with you more. Transportation and ability to work evenings and possible weekends are necessary. This position is a preliminary one focusing on skill building and support work of current Channel 17 Field Producers.  This position can expect 10-15 hours to start per month with the potential to move into a full field producer role which can expect 25-40 hours per month within 4-8 weeks.  Experience with dv-cam tape and hard-drives, using Sony 300 and 250 cameras a plus.

- Ability to interact with variety of people in public settings
- Demonstrated experience in media production
- Capable of on the job problem solving
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Night-time availability
- Valid Driver’s License
- Own Vehicle
- Able to move video equipment
