Essex Junction Wastewater Treatment Facility 03/02/2011 Essex Junction Water Quality Superintendent Jim Jutras explains the need for an upgrade to the Essex Junction wastewater treatment facility.  Serving the communities of Essex, Williston and Essex Junction, the facility was built in the 1960's and upgraded in the 1980's.  Now a bond vote on April 12 by the residents of Essex Junction will determine if the facility gets a $15 million upgrade.

The Lilly Ledbetter Story: Ensuring that Women are Paid Fairly 03/09/2011 After a prolonged fight against gender pay discrimination at her job at Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Gadsden, Alabama, Lilly Ledbetter succeeded in getting the Supreme Court ruling against her overturned. The effect of the court’s holding was reversed by the passage of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act in 2009.
