Channel 17/Town Meeting TV plans coverage of the following Burlington mayoral election events:

• Democratic Candidate Debate on Tuesday November 8th at 6 p.m. - Ward 1 NPA Debate at Edmunds School will feature all Democratic candidates vying for nomination at the upcoming Burlington Democratic Caucus.  This event will be recorded for airing on TV and the Web.
   
• Democratic Mayoral Caucus on Sunday, November 13 at 1 p.m. from Memorial Auditorium.
  This event will air LIVE on Channel 17, Burlington Telecom 317 and be live streamed at www.channel17.org

• Progressive Party Caucus on December 11 at HO Wheeler School - Live streaming and time to be announced.

• Progressive and Republican Candidate Forums of candidates vying for mayoral nomination - to be announced.

• Republican Party Caucus location, date and live streaming - to be announced.

Channel 17/Town Meeting TV will host regular candidate forums in anticipation of Town Meeting TV for the communities of Burlington, Essex Town, Winooski, Williston and South Burlington beginning in February of 2012.

Channel 17/Town Meeting TV provides government access and public affairs programming to the Comcast cable subscribers of Colchester, South Burlington, Burlington, Essex Town, Essex Junction, Winooski, Williston and St. George as well as to the subscribers of Burlington Telecom cable. Channel 17’s mission is to make government more accessible and accountable to Chittenden County residents and to provide citizens with a direct link to public policy makers.
