CCTV Rewind Premieres

Celebrating 25 Years of Public Access in Vermont, CCTV raids its
archives to bring you great moments in our community history. In the
first episode of CCTV Rewind, host Lauren-Glenn Davitian gives an
overview of the series and a preview of 25th Anniversary Events,
Screenings and Parties. Call-in your favorite shows (862-3966) or catch
it online.

CCTV Rewind will continue serving up slices of community life on the
first Tuesday of every month into 2009. Tune in as we look at at great
political moments, voices of dissent, Stump the Chumps, major moments,
changing landscape, visiting dignitaries, local luminaries and every
day events. We’ll dig out clips from CCTV’s library (15,000 hours that
you can search http://www.cctv.org/search/node/). We’ll also dig out
some people to talk about “then and now”.

Vermont Attorney General Posts Privacy Protection Recommendations

The Vermont General Assembly has asked the Attorney General, in consultation with the Public Service Department, to make recommendations on the adoption of regulations concerning telecommunications privacy, the designation of a Chief Privacy Officer, and whether to regulate businesses that handle the data of consumers with whom they have a direct relationship.
