CCTV Productions Wins Alliance for Community Media - Northeast Award for Burlington Electric Department Video

Burlington, VT -- CCTV Productions garnered a first place award in the Alliance for Community Media's Northeast Video contest (http://acm-ne.org/) for its video  "Burlington Electric Department:  Building a Local and Sustainable Energy Future".

Commissioned by Burlington Electric Department, the eleven-minute video uses the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the McNeil Generating Station to tell the larger story of BED's leadership on energy issues and encourages other Vermont communities to look at innovative ways to secure their energy future.

BED General Manager Barbara Grimes said, "We were very happy with the McNeil video; it was a great way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the plant and spread the word about the importance of using a local energy source. Throughout the process CCTV was a pleasure to work with."
