Registration is now underway for the CCV spring semester, which begins January 21. With funding from the US Department of Labor's Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training Initiative, Community College of Vermont is offering free accredited courses at the CCV campus across the state to prepare students for success in today's business environment. These are open to any business or community member.

Burlington Electric Commission 01/08/2014

The commission is a citizen body appointed by the Burlington City Council to oversee Vermont’s largest municipally owned electric utility and exclusive provider of electricity to Burlington residents and busnesses. The Selectboard is a five member elected board. There are three positions elected for a three year term and two positions elected for a two year term on a staggered basis. The board is responsible for setting the general policy direction, passing ordinances, setting the tax rate, reviewing the budget, supervising the Town Manager and a host of other related tasks. CCTV Center for Media & Democracy is pleased to announce receipt of a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Humanities Collections and Reference Resources grant alongside 32 peer archival institutions across the country.
