The Town of Colchester Select Board meets at 7:30 pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the Colchester Meeting House (formerly the white church) on Main Street in the village. However, sometimes special meetings, locations and times are arranged. Check Select Board Agendas which are posted around town at various locations and always at the Library and the Post Office, as well as in the lobby of the Town Offices and on this website. If in doubt contact the Town Manager's Office at 264-5500.  This special meeting deals with the formulatoin of the Town Budget with the following departments presenting: Town Clerk, Fire Department, Police, Planning and Zoning, Assessor.

Exit 12B is a potential new interchange serving the South Burlingtonarea from Interstate 89. The potential for this interchange, to complement exit 14 at Williston Road/Main Street, has been discussed for several years.

The potential interchange would likely be located in the general area of where Hinesburg Road crosses the Interstate, though a full Environmental Impact Analysis exploring all options would need to be completed before any decisions were made.
